Measuring yourself or someone else? Hold the tape level with the floor. Not too tight, not too loose.
Have your child stand relaxed with their feet apart. Measure the fullest part of their hips/seat.
Have your child stand straight with their back against the wall with no shoes on and both feet together. For the most accurate results, mark the wall at top of your child’s head. Have your child step away and measure from the floor to the mark.
